Regional pavilions reveal subjects for Venice Architecture Biennale

The social and environmental role of architecture will be the subject of this year’s Venice Biennale which runs from May 27 through to November 28 2016.

Entering countries will reflect the theme reflecting “architectures that despite the scarcity of means, intensify what is available instead of complaining about what is missing,” the event cited.

The national pavilions will highlight the social, environmental and economic challenges prevalent in each of the participating countries, and the ways in which design all over the world has been used to alleviate these problems.
