Jeddah set for population boom says survey
The city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia is set to experience the highest population growth in the next decade, according to a study.
Business analysts from Bloomberg have examined trends from 1995 through to the present day and extended them to 2025.
They predict Jeddah’s population will grow by 137.4% from a figures of 6,796 persons per square mile to 16,067.
Other massive rises are predicted for cities in Brazil and Mexico.
