High-rise Trump project to open in Baku next year
Billionaire Donald Trump is behind a new hotel and residential development in Baku, Azerbaijan, due to open next year.
Trump International Hotel & Tower Baku has 33 floors and will have 72 luxury residences and 189 hotel rooms and has been designed by UK firm Mixity.
Amenities will include a 1409m2 spa with indoor swimming pools, 400centre, a business centre, as well as retail facilities and a restaurant.
“Trump International Hotel & Tower Baku represents the unwavering standard of excellence of The Trump Organization and our involvement in only the best global development projects,” said Trump.
“When we open in 2015, visitors and residents will experience a luxurious property unlike anything else in Baku – it will be among the finest in the world.”
His daughter Ivanka, who is company vice president of development and acquisitions and an interior designer added: “This incredible building reflects the highest level of luxury and refinement, with extraordinary architecture inspired by the Caspian Sea and sophisticated interiors that seamlessly blend contemporary style with timeless appeal.”
