Foundations being set for SSH-designed Harbour Gate Project by Emaar

Substantial progress has been made on site foundation works for The Harbour Gate residential development by Emaar, it has been announced.

Architecture and engineering consultancy SSH has been appointed to carry out full design and construction supervision services on the project.

Located on the eastern side of Creek Island Dubai, the masterplanned destination will be a high-rise development comprising two towers with a connecting podium, along with retail and townhouse opportunities.

Harbour Gate has been designed to maximise the surrounding views of the nearby marina and a central park, as well as a clear panorama of the Santiago Calatrava-designed Dubai Creek Tower. Tower 1 will top out at 37 storeys, while Tower 2 is 29 storeys high.

The property is integrated within the Dubai Creek Harbour district, a new project by Emaar in a joint venture with Dubai Holding that is focused on building urban island residences onto the contours of the creek.

According to a statement from SSH, residents of the one- two- or three-bedroom units at Harbour Gate can enjoy an “island lifestyle with an urban twist”. Amenities at Harbour Gate include private pools, a gym, a children’s area, private parking and a landscaped leisure deck, in addition to robust retail and food and beverage offerings.

SSH, who recently announced the opening of an office in Saudi Arabia , also designed Emaar’s Creek Horizon residential project in the same district, another twin-tower project which has progressed to podium level.
