Cosentino opens minimalist ‘City’ showroom in Dubai Design District
Architectural surfaces firm Cosentino has opened its 10th global Cosentino City showroom in Dubai Design District (d3), featuring a minimalist space that is more a service centre for architects and interior designers than a conventional showroom.
The 3000m2 showroom model, which was first introduced four years ago, showcases the company’s range of surfaces from its selection of brands including Silestone® and Dekton® in a contemporary setting complete with a monochromatic scheme.
The entrance of the showroom features an Arabesque wall designed with opulent semi-precious stone panels, continuing on to the entrance lobby which opens up into a custom designed kitchen in Silestone® and Dekton®.
At the heart of the City showroom is an interactive room where visitors are able to engage with physical samples and virtually access the entire sample catalog using touchscreen technology. Visitors can also use an interactive program to design and explore various options for facades, kitchens and bathrooms.
The showroom also houses a lounge for casual and formal-style meetings.
“Our aim is to offer our visitors a sensorial and interactive experience. Designers will be able to define, create and visualise their projects using the latest digital applications and technology, supported by the service offered by our team of specialised professionals,” said Eddy Abou Khalil, general manager at Cosentino Middle East.
“Like our other showrooms in New York, Sydney, London, Milan and Madrid, the Dubai City will also be a place for the community to network and collaborate . Cosentino City Dubai will be a hub for creativity and action and we will be hosting various events throught the year at our versatile space. We are keen to support the design ecosystem in the Middle East. Our doors are always open,” he added.
