Zaha Hadid Architects showcases never before seen designs at London exhibition
Zaha Hadid Architects is showcasing an exhibition during the London Festival of Architecture titled ‘ZHA Unbuilt’, featuring the practice’s unrealised designs.
Exhibited at the Zaha Hadid Gallery, the showcase presents never before seen renders of skyscraper projects as well as intricate models, illustrating the firm’s continuous strive towards design investigation and research.
The recent concept designs on show stems from experimentation with adaptable and evolving design processes, an approach native for almost four decades.
“The exhibition showcases ZHA’s ambitious and expanding repertoire developed through iterative design reinforced by systematic knowledge transfer with a willingness to test new ideas across multiple scales and typologies,” the architects said.
The series of exhibitions present intricate models of the firm’s concept design, almost like a timeline of its growth and ideas. A similar set up is present at ZHA’s Dubai office in d3, where intricate models of its most well-known projects are showcased.
ZHA Unbuilt will be on show until 18 August 3017, accessible to the public between 1-6pm from Monday to Friday.
