London’s Tube map redesigned by architect

London’s Tube map redesigned by architect

A Serbian architect has drawn up a new London tube map incorporating all the twists and turns of the underground rail network.

Belgrade-born designer Jug Cerovic, who lives in Paris, turned his attention to the map after Transport for London (TfL) released the latest version of the iconic design.

The TfL map faced criticism from Londoners and tube users due to mistakes spotted on the online version.

These include Tower Hill, Fenchurch Street and Tower Gateway being positioned so close they appear as one station. Also over-ground feeder lines are not marked and the route of the new Crossrail service is unclear.

However, Cerovic’s new map has dealt with these problems, is more spaced out and more closely relates to the geography of the capital, according to social media users.
