Aecom to provide project management consultancy for NEOM phase one
Global infrastructure services firm Aecom has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide project management consultancy (PMC) services for phase one of Neom Bay.
Located in the country's far north-west region crossing into Jordan and Egypt, the 26,000km2 Neom will be a special economic zone offering education, healthcare and leisure facilities.
Aecom's scope of work will be to support the delivery of phase one - a 45km2 area located within Neom Bay through project management, contract administration, technical and environmental support services, and site supervision over the entire design and construction phases of the project.
Neom Bay phase one is intended to be the first showcase of the Neom vision. When completied, it will comprise several thousand residential units, leisure, retail, commercial, public and entertainment facilities with supporting infrastructure and utilities.
