In pictures: Pavilions based on mythical creatures

This project delivered by Bartlett architecture graduate, Haaris Ramzan, displays conceptual pavilions for the Kashmir Valley, which borders India and Pakistan.

The conceptual architecture is intended for the children who have become victims  of the decades-long battle for the disputed territory.

“This project is about the contrast between what is essentially a beautiful landscape and a gritty political conflict,” Ramzan said.

“I wondered if there was a way I could propose an architecture that would transcend that.”
